NUÑEZ AND CUADRO CONTEST WBC LATINO BELT IN PANAMA

A busy bustling press conference, to announce the return of the super featherweight Panamanian  striker, Ricardo “Científico” Núñez (17-2 and 16 KOs), who will fight  intrepid Venezuelan Jesus Cuadro (11-1 and 7 KOs), for World Boxing Council 130 pounds Latino belt, in the main event of the card of “Tribute to the Master”, in honor of the recently deceased Panamanian journalist Felix “El Monstruo” Piñango.

The event is scheduled for September 21 at the Fantastic Casino of Albrook Mall, in Panama City, Panama. The card is presented by Rogelio Espiño (Promotions of the Isthmus).

The press conference, which was directed by Hector Villareal, was attended by the promoter Espiño and the Vice President  of the WBC, Mr. Alberto Guerra.

“I am very motivated to climb to  number 6 in the rankings and to contest for the WBC Latino belt on September 21,” said Nunez. He comes from defeating  Colombian Yogli Herrera, in his last fight on July 5th.
