OKI-DOKI “APOLLO” BLAST OFF!

A rocketing launch in Osaka, Japan, presenting  “Apollo KO Live” promoted by Apollo Boxing Gym Osaka, whose president is the OPBF super featherweight champion  Yoshio Doki.

In the 10-round  main event of the night with the WBC youth featherweight belt endorsed by the World Boxing Council, the world ranked Japanese, unbeaten local left-hander Takuya Uehara (12-0 , 7KOs) showed his firepower,  overwhelming  Nongdear Sor Bangharu (17-13, 4KOs)  by TKO at 2:06 of the sixth round.

So, Takuya Uehara was successful in the first defense of his WBC youth featherweight title, which he won last December in Osaka, Japan, defeating  Filipino Markguil Salvana, via decision.
