Ordonio Decisions Al Naqbi, Claims UD Win in Abu Dhabi

Filipino lightweight “The Equalizer” John Lawrence Ordonio (8-4-1, 4 KO’s) of San Fernando, La Union, scored a clear, well-deserved unanimous decision win over previously unbeaten local fighter Majid Al Naqbi (7-1, 4 KO’s) Saturday night at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

Ordonio, 25, shocked and outclassed his opponent from the getgo, claiming the most rewarding triumph in his boxing career.

Numbers for the four-round fight were 40-36 (x2) and 39-37 all in favor of the Pinoy fighter guided in his Abu Dhabi victory by veteran man of boxing Art Monis of the Hardstone Boxing Gym.
