Light heavyweights Ovince Saint Preux and Tyson Pedro have been added to the UFC’s upcoming trip to Asia.
The bout was announced for the UFC Singapore show on June 23 and the promotion also confirmed that it will take place at the Singapore Indoor Arena.
Also in the official release was news that the UFC will be making annual visits to Singapore over the next three years.
A pair of previously reported bouts, a main event meeting between welterweights Donald Cerrone and Leon Edwards, and a women’s flyweight fight between Jessica-Rose Clark and Jessica Eye, were also made official.
Saint Preux (22-11) recently saw a three-fight win streak snapped when Ilir Latifi put him to sleep with a guillotine choke at UFC on FOX 28. Prior to that, he’d authored finishes of Corey Anderson, Yushin Okami, and Marcos Rogerio de Lima.
Australia’s Pedro bounced back from his first professional defeat with a first-round submission of Saparbek Safarov in February. He improved to 3-1 inside the Octagon and 7-1 overall.
Several other bouts were announced on Sunday, including a welterweight bout between Shinsho Anzai (10-2) and Jake Matthews (13-3), and a strawweight bout between undefeated Nadia Kassem (5-0) and China’s Yan Xiaonan (8-1, 1 NC).
