Another of the world’s best Muay Thai athletes has joined ONE Super Series.
Thailand’s Panpayak “The Angel Warrior” Jitmuangnon has signed to compete in ONE Championship’s all-striking league, and he will make his debut at ONE: DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS.
The event will take place at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Friday, 7 December.
His opponent in a flyweight bout will be Portugal’s Rui Botelho, a WKA European Champion with a professional record of 17-7-2.
The 24-year-old will return for his second contest in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
Panpayak will enter The Home Of Martial Arts with an outstanding 243-40-3 professional record, despite being just 22 years old.
He is a two-division Lumpinee Stadium Champion and two-division Rajadamnern Stadium Champion, and won the Sports Writers of Thailand Fighter of the Year award three years in a row – in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
He joins his teammates Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon and Yodpanomrung “The Lightning Knee” Jitmuangnon on the ONE roster, after they made their debuts at ONE: CONQUEST OF HEROES in September.
Muay Thai will also feature in the ONE: DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS main event as Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex takes on Luis Regis in a featherweight bout.
