Mexico’s Luis “Pantera” Nery, is in top shape and fine fettle for his August 15th. challenge at the Shimadzu Arena in Kyoto, Japan, against WBC bantamweight champion Shinsuke Yamanaka.
Nery has been a WBC Continental Americas and Silver champion and he has defeated talented rivals including Carlos Fontes, Jether Oliva, John Mark Apolinaro, Martín Casillas, David “Tornado” Sánchez, Richie Mepranum, Raymond Tabugon and Jesús Martínez.
Luis sent to the WBC offices a pre weigh in, registering 132.2 pounds (60 KG).
