A Press Conference was held Tuesday for the Samoan Prime Minister Tuilepa Alono Sailele Maillelegaol who is the major sponsor of the WBO#1 Joseph Parker versus WBO#3 Andy Ruiz who clash for the vacant WBO heavyweight title at the Vector Arena, Auckland, New Zealand on December 10 promoted by Duco Events.
Samoan Prime Minister Tuilepa Alono Sailele Mallelegaol said “We are proud to be able to support our son Joseph Parker in his quest to become the first Samoan world heavyweight champion, and believe he possesses the qualities required to succeed, strength of body, mind and soul. In addition to this, this event will be a great opportunity for Samoa to promote our beautiful country to what will be a massive international audience.”
Parker’s promoter Dennis Higgins of Duco Events said “I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the people of Samoa and the Honorable Prime Minister
who have extended to both Joseph Parker and Duco Events over the past 24 months.”
