PATERA FACES DI SILVIO FOR MEDITERRANEAN WBC TITLE

Belgian Francesco Patera, 16-2-0, 7 KO’S fights Italian Pasquale Di Silvio, 20-8-1 6 KO’S, this Saturday, in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with the vacant Mediterranean lightweight title, endorsed by the WBC, on the line .

Both lost their last respective fight against  England’s  Sean Dodd. Di Silvio is the current Italian champion, a title he won against Francesco Acatullo and successfully defended against Vincenzo Finiello in 2015. He has lost against Emiliano Marsili Manuel Lancia and Edis Tatli.  Patera is also a a nation champion, but from  Belgium.
