Paul Felder’s finally got himself another fight.
The lightweight contender and well-regarded UFC color commentator will meet James Vick at UFC Boise in July 14. MMA Fighting confirmed an initial Thursday report by MMA Today.
Felder (15-3) was originally slated to face Al Iaquinta at the infamous UFC 223 last month. However, the bout dropped out the day before the card when Iaquinta was given the opportunity to face Khabib Nurmagomedov in the evening’s main event after Max Holloway was pulled from the card.
Felder carries a three-fight win streak into the bout. His last performance was a second-round TKO of Charles Oliveira at UFC 219. He’s also won five of six.
Vick (13-1), meanwhile, finally gets the fight against a high-profile opponent for which he’s long clamored. Vick carries a four-fight win streak into the bout, most recently a unanimous decision over Francisco Trinaldo on Feb. 18.
