Kazakhstan featherweight 🇰🇿 Yevgeniy Pavlov (3-0, 2 KO’s) scored a non-title unanimous decision win over game Gensan southpaw 🇵🇠Alie Laurel (18-5-1, 11 KO’s) Wednesday evening (Dec 16) in Kazakhstan’s Capital, Nur-Sultan. 🥊
From the getgo, the taller, far faster, and more skilled Pavlov, 21, controlled the actions, continuously landing combinations from the center of the ring, robbing the Pinoy of any chance of organizing any meaningful attack.
Laurel indeed tried, but the aggressiveness, speed, and excellent boxing of Pavlov denied “Demolition Man” of any progress.
There were no cuts nor knockdowns, but the superiority of the Kazakh fighter was evident throughout the televised 6-chapter rumble produced by Suleimen Promotions.
Even though Laurel, 28, lost by points, he proved once again that he is a brave warrior of heart and spirit.
