A Premier Boxing Champions’ heavyweight tripleheader has just been scheduled for June, according to an ESPN report. Gerald Washington, Michael Hunter, and Travis Kaufmann will all be in action on the card which will be televised by Fox Sports 1 as well as Fox Deportes, starting at 8:30pm.

Travis Kauffman (31-2, 23 KOs) will go head-to-head with Scott Alexander (14-2-2, 8 KOs) in the card’s main event, and has been out of action since losing a decision to Amir Mansour early last year. He says he’s ready to go into the fight looking for a stoppage.

“I am excited to get back in the ring,” Kauffman said. “I have not been in the ring in a year-and-a-half and I can’t wait to go in there and show that I still have a lot left. I am not going in there to win by decision. I am going in there looking to knock him out, because I am tired of leaving it up to the judges.”

Meanwhile Gerald Washington (18-2-1, 12 KOs) is coming off two straight stoppage losses in his last two outings — to Deontay Wilder and most recently Jarrell Miller last summer. He’ll be facing Wes Nofire (20-1, 16 KOs).

Lastly Michael Hunter (13-1, 8 KOs) is a former U.S. Olympian from the 2012 squad. He’s coming off a rebound win over Terrell Woods after getting beat by Oleksandr Usyk last year. Hunter will be facing Iago Kiladze (26-2, 18 KOs).

Promoter Tom Brown says the winners on this card will figure to play into the heavyweight picture in a ‘prominent way’ going forward.
