We all at the WBC are Warriors. We believe that there is nobody better to fight for peace than those who know battle, Our Champions gamble their lives in the ring. Who better to understand the beauty of life than those who risk theirs?

Today, we take off our gloves and open our hearts to all people. We are a community without borders. Since the time of José Sulaiman we’ve used our global platform to promote sportsmanship and diversity.  Neither gender or background is an obstacle to acceptance. Only talent makes a Champion, and only character sustains it.

We all in sports can not pretend we can change the world alone. We can not claim to have the power to secure world peace without help. But do not underestimate our power to motivate change. Do not underestimate our influence to be the foundation for change. Working together, we can create a movement as strong as our desire to do so; one that circles the world and lays the foundation for peace.
