CARLO Caesar Penalosa will be fighting Vincent Bautista for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) light flyweight title on August 25 at the Makati Square Boxing Arena in Makati City.
It is promoted by Kate Jaucian of the Black Unicorn International Promotions.
The 24-year old Penalosa of the Gerry Penalosa Boxing Gym has 8 wins with two knockouts against only one loss while Bautista is toting 5-8-4 win-loss-draw card. Penalosa previously scored a unanimous decision win against Jayar Diama (7-9-7) last May 26 in Antipolo City.
Bautista, on the other hand, both dropped his last two fights against Futa Akizuki and Mark Rey Taday by unanimous decisions.
Also pitted in the card is a 6-rounder between Philippine female flyweight champion Carleans “Chay” Rivas (5-4-3) and Floryvic Montero (3-2-0).
The other bouts: Aurelio Angel vs. Edsil Jungco, Justine Polido vs. Julius Bala and Edison Ebron vs. Po Sang So.
