FOR “PETE’S” SAKE!” DUEL “OS” …FORMER WBC CHAMPIONS

A testing, tasty  fight for Pedro Guevara on May 13 in Zapopan, Jalisco, when he faces another former world champion,  Osvaldo “Gallito” Novoa,  at  the modern Teatro Palcco in a duel that will be transmitted through  Televisa Deportes to all Mexico.
Guevara Rocha,  is a former WBC light flyweight champion. He won this  by defeating former champion, Akira Yaegashi, in 7 rounds, brilliantly retained the crown against unbeaten Filipino Richard Claveras and current champion Gánigan Lopez before being defeated by Yu Kimura.

Not to be taken lightly, Novoa Mora surprised the world by beating China’s  Chao Zhong Xiong in five rounds, to win the green and gold minimum weight sash. He retained it in eight rounds by defeating  Nicaraguan Alcides Perez but  lost against current monarch, undefeated Thai Wangheng Menayothin.
