Phayom draws with Zhao

THAILAND’S Campee Phayom settled a split draw with Lunjun Zhao of

China for the vacant World Boxing Organization Oriental Youth super

featherweight title last Aug. 4 at the Blue Arena in Samut Prakan,

Thailand.The 21-year old Phayom is now with 2 draws with 16 wins, 10

knockouts and 4 losses while 20-year old Zhao has 6 wins with 1 loss and 1

draw.Phayom earlier TKO’d Julio de la Basez of Indonesia in 1st round in

Bangkok last May 9.Zhao, on the other hand settled an unanimous decision

with Gui Ming Li of China last May 26 in Fuzhou.The promoter is Yuttapong

Kotgoen of Tan Telecom Promotion. (Lito delos Reyes)
