World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will defend his title against mandatory challenger Bermane Stiverne, on Saturday night, in a rematch of their first encounter in 2015.
Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs) dethroned former champion Stiverne in January 2015 by unanimous decision in what was the most exacting test of his career, thus far.
In the official weigh in, Wilder tipped 220.75lbs, while Stiverne tipped 254.75lbs.
In another interesting match up for the vacant WBC silver welterweight title, former world champion Shawn Porter (27-2-1, 17 KOs) will face Adrian Granados (18-5-2, 12 KOs).
Both are in excellent shape, passing the weigh in without any problem. Porter weighed 146.5lbs, while Granados tipped 146lbs.
This attractive event will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and will be broadcast live on SHOWTIME.
