According to ESPN, former WBC middleweight world champion Julio César Chávez Jr. could return to the ring this coming January in Los Angeles, California.
Although International Hall of Fame Coach Nacho Beristain, mentioned that Chávez Jr. was returning in December, it seems that “the saturation and clutter of dates” forced him to postpone until the new year.
Chavez Jr. hasn’t fought since he was defeated via UD, by Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, last May in Las Vegas.
