Priscila Cachoeira will return to action 13 months after a brutal loss in her UFC debut, facing Molly McCann at UFC London on March 16, multiple sources confirmed to MMA Fighting following a report from Combate.
Cachoeira (8-1) entered the Octagon for the first time in February, but was dominated and finished by flyweight contender Valentina Shevchenko. To make things worse, ”Pedrita” suffered a severe knee injury early in the bout, forcing her to stay on the sidelines without training for almost nine months.
McCann (7-2) is also looking to rebound from a disappointing UFC debut. In her case, though, she was the favorite against Gillian Robertson in May, but lost via second-round submission. The former Cage Warriors champion won six straight prior to her first appearance under the UFC banner.
The UFC has yet to announce any fights for the Fight Night card in London. The show will take place at the O2 Arena and air live on ESPN+.
