Promoters and managers in Manila again gave donations to the boxers and trainers who were greatly affected by the COVID-19 last Saturday(Aug. 22) at the Elorde Sports Complex Boxing Gym in Sucat, Paranaque City.
Headed by its Philippine Boxing Promoters and Managers Assn. [PBPMA] president Dante Almario, the group gave away 250 packs or 10 kilos of rice each.
Gov. Liza Elorde and her husband Johnny donated also 250 face shields, sandals, water tanks, and snacks.
The other PBPMA members who also gave support were Gabriel ‘Bebot’ Elorde Jr., Jun Gandeza, Brico Santig, former world champion Gerry Penalosa, Art and Vilma Monis, Cal Williams, Ruffel Galura, Robert Almario, Orlando Barcelango, Gerry Balmes, Darwin Miller, Ryan Gabriel, Sammy Ani, Cucuy Elorde, Patrick Pante and Naris Sinwangcha.
“We need to give again them free rice,” said Almario.
The next project will be the Naris Singwangcha Foundation in the Cordillera Region and Negros occidental.
