Puerto Rican Matias Scores KO Win over Armanian Ananyan
By Carlos Costa
In a hard-fought war, Boricua super lightweight Subriel Matias (18-1, 18 KO’s) of Fajardo, Puerto Rico, brutalized, floored at stopped tough Armenian brawler Petros Ananyan (16-4-2, 7 KO’s) in nine chapters of raw action to avenge his defeat to Anayan one year ago in Las Vegas.
A continued attack throughout the rumble, topped with a crushing left hook rocked the Armenian flat in his back from where he rosed up, but in damages shaped for which a stoppage was in order to avoid anything bad to unfold.
With fantastic epic win live on Showtime, the 29-year-old Puerto Rican looks forward to more thrilling action in 2022, hopefully a title fight.
