Boxing Talk Promising light heavyweight contender Radivoje “Hot Rod” Kalajdzic, 22-1 (17), has been sidelined for 2017 with hand problems. He’s already had one procedure and was originally scheduled to return in September or October, however his return and future as a boxer are in serious jeopardy. Kalajdzic’s hand never fully healed and he’s not getting enough blood to one of his knuckles, so he will now have stem cell therapy to hopefully rectify the situation. “If this doesn’t fix it, my career is over,” said a concerned but upbeat Kalajdzic. “I still want to fight Marcus Browne again. I know I won the first time around and now I know I have to knock him out to leave no doubt.” Kalajdzic should know the final verdict before the end of the year so stay tuned. |
