Ramirez-Prograis purse bid postponed

The purse bid for the WBC junior welterweight fight between two of the top young guns in the division has been postponed until Monday, having been scheduled to take place today in Los Angeles, according to ESPN.

Ramirez (22-0, 16 KO) and Prograis (21-0, 18 KO) both hold versions of the WBC belt, with Ramirez holding the full title and Prograis the interim championship. They won those vacant titles eight days apart in March, with Prograis knocking out former titleholder Julius Indongo in two rounds on March 9, and Ramirez outpointing Amir Imam on March 17.

Ramirez, 25, is a former U.S. Olympian who has blossomed as a professional, but Prograis 29, looks to be a tougher test than anyone he’s faced to date. Of course, the same could be said for Prograis, who has been on a tear stopping opponents early in fights.

When this fight comes together, who are you favoring?
