Top Rank’s ESPN deal means they are churning out product, and will have a busy summer, at least until football season kicks off and they taper off some.

One card which is coming to coalescence is a July 14 slate which will unfold in New Orleans.

Louisiana-born Regis Prograis will top that event. He is promoted by Lou DiBella and exploded on radar screens when he downed Julius Indongo March 9 in South Dakota on Showtime.

The 29-year-old Prograis (21-0 with 18 KOs) will fight 20-0 Argentine Juan Jose Velasco, who boasts 12 KOs.

On that same card, Brazilian William “Baby Face” Silva (25-1, 14 KO’s) from Plant City, Florida, coming off an unanimous decision win in March against Rogelio Casarez, will present a significant step up for fellow Floridian Teofimo Lopez (9-0, with 7 KOs), who just scored a W on the Lomachenko-Linares undercard in NYC on May 12.
