The World Boxing Council lightweight champion, Belgian Delfine Persoon, returns to the ring to face French Myriam Dellal, on November 11 in Zwevezele, Belgium, after almost a year of inactivity due to injuries.
Persoon underwent treatment including surgery to correct problems to her fists. Fortunately the rehabilitation has been successful, so she is ready to resume her career and defend the WBC crown.
French Myriam Dellal will be a dangerous opponent for Delfine, since she has already achieved important triumphs in her career, including a victory over Elfi Philips, in which she won the WBC silver super lightweight title.
