Another member of the Gracie clan will enter the Bellator cage.
Robson Gracie Jr. will officially join family members Royce, Khonry and Neiman on Oct. 13, when he makes his professional MMA debut in a welterweight bout with Peter Nascimento at Bellator 208, sources confirmed following a report by MMA Junkie.
Gracie Jr. is a 27-year-old grappler who fights out of New York, where he trains with his older brother Renzo. Before moving to New York in 2015, Gracie Jr. trained with former UFC middleweight champion Murilo Bustamante at Brazilian Top Team in Rio de Janeiro.
Nascimento competed once as a professional MMA fighter, losing to Kastriot Xhema via first-round TKO at Bellator 194 in February.
Bellator 208 takes place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale and features Fedor Emelianenko vs. Chael Sonnen in the main event.
