REY WANTS TO WIN “AN OSCAR!”

Mexican Rey Vargas defends his super bantamweight World Boxing Council championship this Saturday against Colombian Óscar Negrete.

The time for actions matching words, is closing in. But a few final comments. Said Rey:

“I`m happy and motivated to be part of this great event which stars  Miguel Cotto. He`s a great fighter, and I am happy to be part of this card. I`m  excited about this bout as Oscar Negrete is a great fighter.”

Oscar “Jaguar” Negrete, who`s the current NABF bantamweight champion commented: “I want to thank Golden Boy Promotions for the opportunity to fight for this important title.  I know Rey is a great champion, but I’m in a great moment in my career, and I’m here to win.”
