RIGHT ON THE KISSER! ZULINA WILL DEFEND CROWN IN SUN CARESSED CANCUN

Drawing a line in the sand…WBC female silver super flyweight champion Guadalupe “Lupita” Martínez (14-9-0, 5 KO’s), is striding and striking one step further, contesting the absolute world championship against formidable Zulina “Loba” Muñoz (48-1-2, 28 KO’s).

“Lupita” and “Loba” star as the  main event at the  “Oasis Arena Cancun” in Saturday May 13, in a joint presentation of  “Cancun Boxing”, “Zanfer Promotions” and “Boxing Time Promotions. The card will be broadcast in Mexico through TV Azteca,  while CBS Sports Network will screen it through United States and Canada.

Although she knows this will be a tough, gritty,  ingrained mission “Lupita” says she’s minded to introduce wolf’s bane to dethrone “Loba”, who’s loping down to Cancun for the eleventh defense of her WBC crown. “Zulina is a great champion, of that there is no doubt, but she is not invincible and I’m coming for her crown,”  vowed the challenger.

Zulina will be fighting for the second time in  Quintana Roo,  as in  September 2014, she defeated Karina “Kary” Hernández by UD as a glittering highlight of the first  WBC female Convention.

Back then and like now, Zulina staked the famed green and gold WBC belt that she conquered on September 29  2012, defeating Maribel Ramírez at the Polanco Forum in Mexico City.

“Lupita” reaches this important impact point, after defeating Guadalupe Solis, at the Oasis on February 4.
