Isabel “Estrella” Millán is very well aware of the exceptionally important commitment that’ll confront her on the night on September 23 in Zapopan, when she fights former World Boxing champion, Mexican Ibeth “Roca” Zamora, with the winner catapulted to a hair’s breath away from a title fight!
“I do not have the slightest doubt that things in life happen for a reason, I have been working hard for many years looking for an opportunity exactly like this and at last that moment has come. So now I have to be more than ready as I will be facing one of the best boxers in Mexico and for that matter, the World! A fighter who was world champion for years and who has a very aggressive boxing style, but that will only make my victory all the sweeter.”
With a record of 19-3-1 and 8 KOs, the native of Culiacán, isn’t either phased or nervous about the power of “Roca” Zamora, who has a record of 27-6 and 12 KO´s.
Also, as part of the event, world ranked Hugo “Cuatito” Ruiz stakes his number two spot in the WBC’s bantamweight rakings against, Enrique Bernache in a battle that promises to be explosive.
The match is possible thanks to Cavall Sports and Playboy México and it will be broadcast via Televisa Deportes to all Mexico.
