Rocky gets belted by WBC

“Rocky Balboa,” the legendary boxer of the silver screen portrayed by Sylvester Stallone, has received an honorary title from the World Boxing Council. The 72-year-old Stallone, also a boxing Hall of Famer, was presented with an official green and gold Rocky belt by WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman.

“Rocky has been very important to the world of boxing after the legend of Muhammad Ali,” said Sulaiman. “His contribution and positive legacy to the world of boxing has been invaluable.”
