“Rocky” wants to fight “Bandido”

Oswaldo Küchle, promoter of the World Boxing Council youth super featherweight champion, Eduardo ” Rocky ” Hernández, seeks a fight for Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez against former champion Francisco ” Bandido ” Vargas, as a key step on the way to challenging WBC super featherweight champion  Miguel “Alacran” Berchelt.

“Rocky is young and we’re not going to rush him. He showed that he’s on a different level because he did something big against a boxer who was hard to knock out, by stopping him in the very first round.”

“We will look for a rival who exploits Rocky`s skills, and I am going to ask the WBC to approve an eliminatory fight against Francisco” Bandido “Vargas, which would be very interesting. Miguel  “Mickey” Román and Miguel Berchelt are facing each other next, so we can have an eliminatory match in the meantime.”
