WBC super featherweight Youth champion, Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez and his Coach Isaac “Tortas” Bustos, want a bread and butter fight against Francisco “Bandido” Vargas.
Affable “Rocky” chatted with the Press about his weekend fight against Rafael “Potro” Hernandez, a southpaw rival from Venezuela who initially proved tricky.
Rocky now wants to prove himself and his fists against the next level! And that means He’s eyeing former WBC world champion, Francisco Vargas!
For “Rocky” this fight would represent a great challenge and a major victory, further boosting his unbeaten career.
“Francisco is number two in the WBC rankings and I’m number three, I think this shows that I am at the level and that I deserve this opportunity!
” Francisco is a warrior who everyone knows and he wants to regain the absolute title. So that Adds an extra ingredient to this possible meeting that I hope can happen in September.”
His coach and guide, the former world champion Isaac Bustos, was emphatic in saying that his pupil is a disciplined and skilled boxer and with everything necessary to shine on the big stage.
