Rodríguez and Gaballo ready to step into the ring

Puerto Rican Emmanuel Rodríguez will face the undefeated Philippine Reymart Gaballo, for the Interim Bantamweight Championship of the World Boxing Council, this Saturday at the “Mohegan Sun Arena” in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Both fighters weighed in without a glitch. Emmanuel Rodríguez was 117.6 pounds and Reymart Gaballo 117.6 pounds.

The fight, which is promoted by the Premier Boxing Champions series, will be broadcasted on Showtime.

The tripleheader will feature undefeated welterweight Jaron “Boots” Ennis taking on his toughest opponent to date, veteran contender Chris van Heerden in a 12-round fight. Additionally, undefeated bantamweight Gary Antonio Russell will face former world champion Juan Carlos Payano in 10 rounds.
