Former world minimumweight champion Francisco “Chihuas” Rodriguez (23-4-1, 15 KOs) scored a third round KO over late sub Rolando “El Duende” Gusman (15-4, 9 KOs) in a WBC flyweight eliminator clash on Saturday night in at the Oasis Arena in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Rodriguez’ body shots were pure poison for Gusman all night. A hook to the body finally finished Gusman at the 1:35 mark of round three.
