Roman decrees “Alacran” won`t stand the punishing forced march

The third and final promotional press conference of the November 3 card in El Paso, Texas, is concluded.

Miguel “Alacran” Berchelt (34-1-0, 30 ko’s) will be defending his championship for the fourth time,  when he faces Miguel “Mickey” Roman (60-12-0, 47 ko’s) on November 3 at The Don Haskins Convention Center in the border city of Texas.

In the final pit stop of the promotional tour in Ciudad Juarez, where “Mickey” is from, both champion and challenger raised the tone of their statements, with both predicting  a  very competitive fight. The card is presented by Top Rank with Zanfer Promotions and Promociones del Pueblo.

“We all know what Roman does up the ring and we will be prepared to knock him out. He has a style that works perfectly for me.  I am awaiting a war which I will win by knockout,” said 26-year-old Berchelt. of Cancún, Quintana Roo, who is represented by Mario Abraham of Max Boxing and promoted by Fernando Beltran of Zanfer.

The idol of Ciudad Juarez “Mickey” Román, motivated by the support of his people, vows that on November 3, he will fulfill his dream of becoming a world champion and will give great satisfaction to the people of Chihuahua.

“Berchelt will not stand my pace. I`ll  attack him and pressure him from the very beginning.   I know it’s a very difficult fight, as Berchelt is a very good opponent, but I will not disappoint.  This  fight of November 3 goes through Ciudad Juarez, I want to make history and I want to be the first world champion from this city.”
