Miguel “Micky” Román vows he’s already got a one hundred percent fight plan for his December 9 match in Las Vegas, against the ferocious Orlando “Siri” Salido!
“Me and my team led by Rudy Hernandez have watched some videos. We know that we should not give him a single moment neither to breathe nor to think. We have to be all the time on him, that’s why we are working extra on the physical part because that will be the basis of everything we are planning to do, “said Roman Portillo.
Salido has 31 knockouts, and is a tough rival that whom take the balance of the match at any time, so “Micky” understands that if he manages to establish the pace of the fight his chances of success increase considerably.
“You have to be offensive against a fighter like him. If you give him space and let him take the initiative, it would be a serious mistake. You have to press him, make him feel uncomfortable. His greatest virtue is his endurance. You just have to see that in his fights against Juan Manuel Marquez or Vasyl Lomachenko as he lasted the distance and that’s why you have to be aggressive but intelligent.”
Roman and Salido will be the star battle of the evening of December 9 in Las Vegas, fighting for the interim super featherweight world Championship of the World Boxing Council.
