Thrice world champion, Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, and Mexican, Carlos “Principe” Cuadras, the WBC super flyweight champion, faced each other across the clearing, at the final  press conference prior their pitched battle this Saturday at the Inglewood Forum in California.

The Nicaraguan is revered as the pound for pound fighter in the World and needs to be, because he’s confronted  by a magnificent, proud, confident and undefeated WBC world champion, who is determined  to make history.

Gonzalez will try to conquer the 4th crown of his career, something no one has achieved in Nicaragua. If he did it, he would surpass the achievements  of the legendary Alexis “Thin Man” Arguello, who is his hero and idol.

On the other gloved hand, Cuadras, who’s  shaped and crafted a wonderful career as super flyweight world champion, is aware that with victory, he’ll transform from a Prince, E wrapping himself with the mantle of Pound for Pound King.

During the press conference, Roman insisted he’s very confident of triumphing this Saturday against Cuadras, who he says has talked an awful lot, precipitating a war words, before fists let fly.

“We are going to fight hard from beginning…to end. He says he will drink some chocolate that night, so I am going feed him some. I know that I will lose eventualy, but I don’t really think Cuadras is that fighter! I feel great, I am stronger In camp,” a very relaxed and poised Roman commented.

“It is a tough fight but I am coming to fight in the absolute best condition of my career. I have the medicine to defeat “Chocolatito.” Carlos Cuadras, concluded.
