Rosendo Alvarez offers memorable motivational talk

Former world champion Rosendo Alvarez, continues performing important actions as WBC CARES and BOXVAL ambassador, of the foundation SCHOLAS OCURRENTES of Pope Francis.

During his years as world champion, Rosendo never forgot that his life purpose went appreciably beyond being a renowned champion. It also involves helping people in different and diverse ways.

This Thursday  “Búfalo” offered a motivational talk for young people at the  Las Águilas Center – which works to take youths off the streets in Managua, Nicaragua.

Rosendo commented with young people the importance of sport to get away from bad relationships and vices,  encouraging them to be good people and to fight for their dreams while leading an exemplary life.

The World Boxing Council congratulates Rosendo for the great work he does.
