Adante tipped the scales at 139 lbs while Ruawaiking had 140 lbs. during today’s official weigh-in.
The 12-round championship fight is promoted by Ekkarat Chaichotchuang of Jimmy Boxing Promotions.
The undefeated Ruawaiking (7-0, 5 Kos) won the IBF Pan Pacific junior welterweight title holder via a first round TKO over Japan’s Maruoka last February 22 in Thailand.
Ruawaiking also recently TKO’d Eddy Comaro in the 3rd round last April 20 in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
The 25-year old Adante, on the other hand, previously scored a 6th round technical knockout win against Joepher Montano last February 18 at the Makati Square Boxing Arena in Makati City.
“Handa na po akong lumaban. Pipilitin kong manalo bukas para sa bayan, (I’m now ready to fight. I will try to win tomorrow for the country) said Adante.
