On July 17, the Italian resident of Germany, Piergiulio Ruhe (8-1-0, 6 Ko’s), will fight Bosnian Sladan Janjanin (29-7-0, 23 Ko’s), in the city of Alanya, Turkey.
Ruhe is coming off defeating Bosnian Siarhei Huliakevich by TKO in 4 rounds last September. For his part, Janjanin comes into this fight after defeating fellow countryman Edhem Hrustic by KO in the second round last month.
It’s presented by Rene Hildebrandt, and the middleweight Mediterranean title of the World Boxing Council is being disputed.
This Friday, both warriors made the official weigh-in:
Piergiulio Ruher: 71.4 kg (157.4 lbs)
Sladan Janjanin: 72.5 kg (159.8 lbs)
The Referee will be Robin Dolpierre, while Sergio Silvi, Jürgen Langos, and Maurizio Renaudo are the Judges. The supervisor will be Houcine Houichi, Vice President of the WBC and President of the ABU (African Boxing Union).
