
Ryoji to defend titles against Takahiro on June 21

Ryoji Fukunaga of Osaka will defend his titles against Takahiro Fujii of Tokyo on June 21 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
The 34-year-old Ryoji (13W-4L-0D, 13KOs) will only be defending his World Boxing Organization Asia Pacific and Japanese super flyweight titles against Takahiro.
Ryoji will not be defending his Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation super flyweight title which he previously won together with the other two titles against Kenta Nakagawa via a TKO in the 10th round at Korakuen last Dec. 14, 2020.
Takahiro (12W-6L-1D, 3KOs), on the other hand, won a split decision over Akira Kokubo last Oct. 9, 2020 in Korakuen.
The boxing event is promoted by Yukio Sebata of Dangan Aoki Promotions.
