A welterweight encounter between The Ultimate Fighter 21 cast member Sabah Homasi and heavy hitting judoka Abdul Razak Alhassan has been added to UFC 218.

The bout was officially announced by the UFC on Thursday.

A 28-year-old representative of American Top Team, Homasi (11-6) made his Octagon debut on short notice as a replacement for Sean Strickland vs. Tim Means at UFC 202 last August. He would go on to lose by second-round TKO to Means.

Prior to that, Homasi dropped a decision to Carrington Banks in his lone fight of the TUF 21 season.

Ghana’s Alhassan (7-1) made a spectacular first impression with the UFC last November, needing just 53 seconds to knock out Charlie Ward. It was the seventh knockout in as many professional appearances for Alhassan, with none of those finishes taking longer than 96 seconds. In his most recent outing, Alhassan was defeated by Omari Akhmedov via split decision, which was the first loss of his career.

UFC 218 is scheduled to take place at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Mich. on Dec. 2.
