Sales previously settled a split draw with Japanese Ryuji Ikeda last October 9 in Hiroshima, Japan.
Despite knocking down the Japanese twice, the judges scored it a split draw.
“Pero marami ang nagsabi okay na raw yung draw kasi kadalasan daw kahit binogbog mo na ang kalaban talo ka pa rin daw,” said Sales in a text message.
Sales has been training now at the Thaibox Fitness Gym in Lipa City. He has sparred with WBA Inter-Continental super bantamweight champion Jhon “The Disaster” Gemino and Marbon Bojongan of Kambal Kamao Team.
“Todo ensayo naman ako dito. Sisikapin ko pong manalo. Gagawin ko ang lahat ng makakaya ko,” said Sales.
