By Shea Smith: Integrity Fighter Management and Olivino’s LLC brought boxing back to the Monroeville Convention Center. A healthy crowd of 715 came out to see a night of solid exciting matchups. Pittsburgh’s Fab Four: undefeated prospects (2-0) Oleg “Ukraine Pitbull” Dovhun, (2-0) Lyubomyr “Demolition Man” Pinchuk, (6-0) Gerald “G5″Sherrell, and (8-0) Amonte “The Magician” Eberhardt.

Kicking off the show:

From Lviv Ukraine and now fighting under Mike McSorley at Pittsburgh’s Conn-Greb Boxing Club: (2-0) 1KO Lyubomyr “Demolition Man” Pinchuk added his 2nd consecutive 1st round KO to his ledger by stopping Charleston WV’s (5-2) 3KO Jermaine “Hurricane” Walker. A right ha d body shot at the 1:44 mark sent Walker to a knee and he never beat the count. An unsavory verbal exchange between a fan and Walker landed him a PA suspension.

Lyubomyr’s fellow countryman and Conn- Greb stablemate, 5x Ukraine national champ and current Pittsburgh resident Oleg “Ukraine Pit-bull” took on game Cleveland southpaw Roger “Monster” Blankenship. As usual, Dovhun was a tornado in the ring. He controlled the pace from start to finish, punishing the holding Blankenship throughout, with a non stop assortment of shots from every angle possible. All the judges had 40-36 for Dovhun who climbs to 3-0 (1KO) while the tough Blankenship drops to (1-1).

Slick Pittsburgh middleweight Gerald “G5” Sherrell moved to (7-0) 3KO with a 5th round KO of Charleston’s (2-2) 1KO Mykhail Bosse. The shorter Bosse got caught with G5’s left hook that ended the show at 2:24 of the 5th round.

Pittsburgh veteran lightweight contender “Lightning” Rod Salka systematically worked his way through 8 rounds with Honduras bomber (10-3) 9KO Jayro Duran. Salka dictated the pace with clean shots and out-boxed his opponent from start to finish. From the opening bell Duran head hunted Salka, but Salka was to wiley and elusive. The judges ruled it 80-72 x2 and 79-73 all for Lightning Rod, who should be in line for another big money fight.

In the main event popular Pittsburgh welterweight (8-0) 3KO Amonte “The Magician” Eberhardt faced Ugandan champion (12-3-1) 5KOS Charles Mulindwa in a 6 rounder. After a feel out first round, The Magician caught Mulindwa with a short right hand that floored the African in the second. Mulindwa hung on an battled back throughout the fight. The slick Eberhardt, landed the larger shots throughout the contest. 2 judges had it 60-53 and Judge George Kachulis had it a lopsided 57-56 in favor of Eberhardt.
