San Luis Potosí U Triumph of the WBC and the Seguro Popular

San Luis Potosí is the first state in Mexico to implement the “Boxing for you” program.

It’s an  initiative that seeks to promote the practice of sport while   combatting  obesity, plus other health issues.

The Governor of San Luis Potosí, Juan Manuel Carreras Lopez, accompanied by boxing legend Pipino Cuevas and champions Eduardo “Rocky” Hernández and Francisco “Bandido” Vargas, launched the Program.

It’s developing and flourishing  thanks to the joint efforts of Seguro Popular San Luis Potosí with the WBC, including  the motivational talks and visits of great Mexican boxing legends.
