SANMAN BOXERS SPAR WITH RIGONDEAUX

FOUR boxers from Sanman Boxing Stable of General Santos City are now sparring with the undefeated world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux, who is now preparing for a title fight in the United States.
Reymart Gaballo, Mike Plania, John Vincent Moralde and Harmonito Dela Torre are currently training at the gym of Cuban coach Muro Fernandez in Miami, Florida, USA together with Rigondeaux.
“Each of them sparred for two rounds with Rigondeaux,” said Jim Claude Manangquil, chief executive officer of Sanman Promotions.
“Great experience for them. I’m sure they will learn a lot from a great champion like Rigondeaux,” added Manangquil.
Rigondeaux is in the thick of preparation for his gigantic match with fellow unbeaten fighter Moises Flores on June 17 at the Mandalay Bay Casino and Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rigondeaux (17W-0L-0D, 11KOs) and Flores (25W-0L-0D, 17KOs) will fight for the WBA Super World super bantamweight and IBO World super bantamweight belts.
The four Sanman boxers are training under former Cuban national team trainer Moro Fernandez in Miami, Florida.
After the training, which will last until December, the four boxers will see action in the US for at least two fights each before heading back home.
Dela Torre (19W-0L-0D, 12KOs) is the WBF World superfeatherweight champion, Gaballo (16W-0L-0D, 14KOs) is the WBC Asia superbantamweight king, Moralde (19W-0L-0D, 10KOs) is the WBC Asia featherweight champion, while Plania (14W-0L-0D, 7KOs) owns WBF International bantamweight title
