Featherweight Jeo “Santino” Santisima of Masbate will fight Mexican-American Joet Gonzalez on March 4 at the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California.
The 25-year-old Santisima tipped the scales at 125.2 pounds while Gonzalez was at 125.8.
Santisima recently knocked out Alan Alberca of Zamboanga last July 16, 2021 in Talisay City. Santisima has 21 wins with 18 knockouts against three defeats.
Gonzalez, on the other hand, has 24 wins with 14 knockouts against two losses.
He recently lost to Emanuel Navarrete by a unanimous decision for the WBO World featherweight title last October 15, 2021 in San Diego, California.
Meanwhile, super lightweight Jose Carlos Ramirez (26-1-0, 17KOs) of USA will face Jose Pedraza (29-3-0, 14KOs) of Puerto Rico in the main event.
The boxing promoter is the veteran Bob Arum of Top Rank while the matchmaker is Brad Goodman.
