UFC women’s bantamweight Sarah Moras needs help paying for her upcoming fight camp.
Sarah Moras is seeking donations to put toward her upcoming fight camp.
The UFC women’s bantamweight fighter started a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for her expenses leading up to UFC 215 at which she is set to face Ashlee Evans-Smith. UFC 215 takes place live from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alb., Canada on Sept. 9. No main event has been announced for the card.

“I want to compete and be the best fighter I can be and I can’t do it alone,” Moras wrote in the campaign. “In order to do that I need to be able to train full-time without work a second job to pay my living expenses (rent, phone, food, and nutritional supplements). I also want to be able to make sure that my body is in the best shape and condition it can be in, and therefore I will need to pay for strength and conditioning, and forms of recovery and rehabilitation for minor injuries that occur during a fight camp.”
Moras has already raised nearly $1,500 of a $10,000 goal. She is 1-1 in the Octagon and hasn’t fought in exactly two years. In her last fight, “Cheesecake” made $10,000 in defeat to current top contender Jessica Andrade.
The last UFC fighter to start a GoFundMe to raise money for fight costs was Paul Felder. Last year ahead of a bout in South America, he asked for donations so he could afford to fly his cornermen to the fight’s destination of Brasilia, Brazil.
