Visiting the WBC headquarters, Saul Juarez chatted with the boxing media about his fight for the WBC minimumweight championship, against Thai, Wanheng Menayothin.
Valiant following a battling defeat, Saul stresses he’s leaned a lot from this experience. Aware of his mistakes, “Baby” acknowledged he did not apply enough sustained pressure in the early part of the bout.
“It was a difficult fight, but I think I did things well. Menayothin claimed he was going to Knock me out in the 6th, but he could not! And I landed some substantial punches on him”. But…I was not explosive enough.”
