Seasoned World Boxing Council silver bantamweight champion Aniya Seki, successfully defended her belt against Hungarian Kleopatra Tolnai, who`s a staggering 17 years younger.
After ten absorbing rounds, the three Judges reached precisely the same verdict: 100: 90 for the versatile and experienced 38-year-old champion.
Aniya took the initiative in the match, showing her greater boxing smarts and better condition. Although at times Tolnai tried to take control with some sharp counter punching, the champion was able to effectively and capably neutralize these initiatives.
Seki improved her record to 32 wins, two defeats and a draw, proving she’s ready for even more exacting fights. Her next aim is to challenge current WBC bantamweight champion, Mariana Juarez.
