Trinidad and Tobago fighter Sheldon Lawrence successfully defended his Light Heavyweight WBC FECARBOX title, defeating Guyanan, Shawn Corbin, by knockout during the eleventh round in Georgetown, Guyana.
Lawrence, born in Siparia, passed a stern test by defeating a tough and experienced opponent… a veteran former CABOFE champion, who has fought most of his career in Trinidad and Tobago.
Lawrence’s dream is to continue working towards an opportunity for the WBC world crown, which is held aloft by Adonis Stevenson, of Canada.
